Delivery & Consignee Coordination

Delivery and consignee coordination

Consignee contact, receiving appointments, driver scheduling, final delivery and equipment returns, coordinated directly around how the receiver works.

Kattz contacts the receiver, confirms the day and the window, schedules the driver around it and delivers the way the receiver actually works. You get a confirmation, not a chain of phone calls. One missed handoff can turn into five calls; we make the calls before there is a problem.

When you need this

One less schedule for you to manage.

  • 01Your receiver has a dock schedule, a forklift window or a road restriction.
  • 02You are a forwarder and your reputation with your customer is sitting inside that trailer.
  • 03Deliveries keep slipping because nobody owns the appointment.
  • 04You want the empty or the equipment return handled in the same plan.

How it works

From the first call to the last handoff

  1. Step 1

    We contact the consignee

“We can deliver on this day. Does the time work?” A real conversation, before the truck is dispatched.

  2. Step 2

We confirm the appointment and schedule the driver

The driver's day is built around the receiver's window.

  3. Step 3

    We deliver and confirm

Early is on time. You hear from us when it is done, not when it is late.

  4. Step 4

    We coordinate the return

Empties and equipment go back without another phone call from you.

On the job

Delivered around how the receiver works.

What you get

What changes for you

  • Appointments treated as commitments.
  • A driver scheduled around the receiver, not the other way round.
  • A call before a problem, not after.
  • Equipment returns closed out.

FAQ

Questions about this service

Will you contact my receiver directly?

Yes. That is the point of the service. Kattz confirms the delivery day and window with the consignee, then schedules the driver around what they told us.

What happens if the receiver can't take the load as planned?

We call you before it becomes a problem and re-plan: a new window, different equipment if the freight needs it, or a short hold. The plan changes; the responsibility doesn't.

Do you handle equipment and empty returns?

Yes. Returns are part of the same plan, whether the empty goes back to a Mainland terminal on a return sailing or to a yard on the Island.
